[Milsurplus] Military mobile antenna bases

Greetings, Troops!

I'm in search of an MP-57 vehicular antenna mount, or some reasonable
facsimile thereof,
for parts; I mainly need the insulator and it's threaded whip insert, for
use in building
an HF mobile antenna based on WW2 "tank whip" sections.

In that pursuit, a question came up in my mind.

There's an awful lot of different mil mobile mounts out there; the AB-15
series seems to
be fairly plentiful right now. Is there any interchangability between them?

What I'm looking for is something that matches the threads of the MS-53 or
MS-54 tank whip
sections. Will an AB-15 fill the bill, as is?

If not...  is the threaded whip insert of the AB-15s replacable?
