Michael,

I dug some deeper this morning and found the unknown handbook, along with a
stack of the single sheet schematics that G&G did so many of, and some
Columbia, Bill Slep, etc. catalogs from the 50's and early 60's. The unknown handbook
is (or was) a conversion handbook, not just a compilation of schematics. And
it was printed, not typed and copied by some method. But whoever did it did
not number the pages and the figures (some copied from the pertinent manuals
and some drawn for this book) are numbered for each individual radio or radio
set (i.e., Fig 4-274N) so there's no clue as to how much is missing. What I
have here is about 1/4" thick. And also, unlike the individual sheet schematics
that G&G did, none of the schematics and drawings in this thing have anything
on them to ID who did them.

I also found another compilation of schematics (no text) produced by High-Mu
Electronics Sales Co. in New Haven. Green covers but no clue to the date.
The TOC is on the front cover and ads for a complete MN-26-C ($49.00) and RA-10
($39.00) on the back cover. The prices might be a clue as to time frame. The
schematics are all printed on 11x17 foldouts. So some are full size, some
only slightly reduced and a couple considerably reduced. One of the schematics
is on the RA-10-CB or -DB. Except for RA-10 and MN-26, everything is BC, SCR
or AN/ (no Navy sets).
