In one column a reader asked if he was really Tom McCahill. He replied
something to the effect "No, he ( McCahill) gets paid real money".
I loved his articles about the "Radio Americas" station on Swan Island,
especially the narrative about the trip he and Bob Beason, the EI editor,
made to Swan Island.
He was one Hep Cat.
