There's one, large format, blue color cover as i remember, that has the photo
on one page and the schematic on the reverse page side. "Editors and
Engineers" was the publisher. It has its moments of humor too. I think
the photo of the BC-312 and BC-342 or maybe even the BC-344 used the
same beat receiver for the photo. Other sets looked tired too. Not up to
the present 'museum quality' and completeness of current internet
publishign, hi. Still, it's a nice book. Rather than being any kind of actual
usefulness, it seemed to me more of a "Sears catalog" for the mil-surplus
enthusiast.
There's another one about the same size, called "Surplus Schematics Digest",
isnt' that it? It too has its humor. How useful is a schematic of an ARC-1
for example, reduced to less than one page size, with no other data? Plus
the captions show input from the "Kneitel effect" - they are there to
entertain you, not inform, and often are plainly wrong. -Hue Miller
