I have two of these units and they both have the model number obliterated on the tag. An enclosed Radio Shack reprint from the early 1950's inside one identifies them as Navy VHF DF signal standards for alignment but doesn't ID them any further. They have gold-plated tunable resonator cavities and a pair of acorn tubes. Most of the cabinet space was for batteries. Lid has a storage mount for a short whip antenna (included). Case is about 5x5x8, IIRC. Cruddy and a tad corroded (aluminum) outside, but clean inside.
Any interest? Free (for $$ to cover shipping) to a good home. Contact me off list.
