Great find, John - congratulations.

I collect former Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact military radio equipment,
and
I offered to a number of Russian hams who mentioned that they can get
an
R-807, a mint ART-13/BC-348 combo as a swap. If someone was serious, I
could
even supply two ART-13's, all with the matching connectors. I never
again
heard from anyone...

The RPC is also a very neat receiver - I have the Russian copy of the
BC-348 - the US-9. I also have another Russian aircraft receiver, the
US-8,
which is a completely remotely controlled receiver, the tuning is done
with
a 400 Hz servo system. I got the receiver with all the connectors, the
power
supply, the main junction box and the pilot's control box where the
tuning
dial is. I'd need a 115 V 400 Hz supply to power it up. It's a beautiful
piece of work...

I hope you put your R-807/RPC station on the air soon. Even if it may be
rough on AM, it shouldn't be too difficult to get out to stateside on
CW.
