Michael,

Thank you for clarifying this. I now see the R-10 in the User's Guide to
ARC-5 as part of the ARR-2 system. No idea where the 'Type 12' part comes
in, but that's OK.

Would be interested to find any pictures of an R-10A. I think this one is
unmodified, but I'm not 100% sure about the connectors.

Considering various options. Since this RX doesn't have a BFO the normal
approach of 'add a crystal-controlled converter' doesn't appeal. And I
certainly don't plan to modify this one in any way.
