Shortly after I became a ham in the early 50s, I helped one of my 
Elmers build a power supply for a TCK-7 and get it on the air.  I was 
fascinated by those geared veeder root counters which were multiples 
of the next one nelow or above, after 50+ years, I forget which.  But 
I do recall that was a beautiful rig even though it was destined to 
be crystal controlled on a single commercial frequency.  I've often 
wondered whatever happened to thet big hunk of aluminum.

That humongous 200 volt dynamotor was separate, right?  I seem to 
recall the power supply had to supply 2 or 3 high DC voltages in 
addition to the filaments, and the original 200 volt "power supply" 
was not with this one.

BTW, what's a 299Meter radio?
