The 618S-1 is an ARC-38, the 618S-4 has 144 crystal controlled
channels. The 618T-1 was the retrofit for the ARC-38 the 516F-1 (?)
replaced the 416W dynamotor, feeding 400VAC @ 1500HZ to the TR, where it
was stepped up and rectified(to utilize the existing ARC-38 wiring), the
T2 had an internal 28VDC supply, and the T-3 had an internal 115VAC 3
phase 400Hz supply. The 180L-3 tuner was used with many early and
retrofit 618T installations, later the 490T became the mate for the 618T
series. No all inclusive or detailed, but that is the gist of it
(excepting the 618S-1MC and the ARC-38A SSB conversions)
