I knew you guys would come thru with the details ... I've not had +ACI-ARC-5+ACI- eq. on
the air since 1968: a NIB black-crinkle 80-meter pair I bought from F.R.  (I
called them just this AM - I even ordered a piece of milsurp, an ARC Type 12
plug)  Sadly, I butchered the ARC-5 stuff like everybody else.  Looking back
thru ads tells me why, tho: who could afford the rig AND all the jax and rax
too?+ACE-  Doubles the price+ACE-  (jax and rax and elephants, sure as you're born -
ain't never gonna see no yu-nee-korn ...)

Okay, so I forgot the tx xtal was only for calibration ... see above operating
note ... my small-boat-load of ARC Type 12/ARC-60 stuff is xtal-control, so I
probably confused them ... the only other +ACI-ARC-5+ACI- piece I have is an un-molested
BC-950 (which I got from RWD), it being the 'same' f coverage as the ARC-60
species, and the BC-638/639 (thanx to Marty) stuff.  Never seen a BC-640+ADs- don't
think I'd buy it if I did, due to the size.

Come to think of it, I would trade for the PP-115 (p/s for the T-30), just to
say I have it.  Still have a BC-221 (N?) here+ADs- need to un-box it (was ready to
ship when buyer changed his mind - or maybe his wife did) and re-list it.  Also
have one last BC-348, but they're 'pushing the envelope' for shipping weight and
delicacy ...

Tom:  I have +ACo-three+ACo- +ACI-smallish+ACI- antenna tuners FS: TenTec 227 (no-meter v.),
MFJ-941D (single-needle), and MFJ-949D (cross needle).  Query for details.
(Don't make me come up there and put that computer together myself+ACEAIQ-  haha)
