Ahem!

There seems to be some skewing, perhaps misuse, of terminology here.

There is a large difference between parting out rigs, i. e. 
disassembly down to the individual component level, and the original 
complaint, which concerned selling multi-component equipment 
piecemeal.  

To which I respond: "Complain to the Government."  Which is 
responsible for more separation and dispersal of individual 
assemblies of top nomenclatured systems than any ham or thousand hams 
you could name.  E. g. ARC-5 cable assemblies.  Need I say more?
