Consumer Reports recently did a test on dry cells.
Costco's store brand was rated best, at least in
some sizes.

Does anyone else remember when Rat Snack had the "Battery a Month Club"? You 
just visited the store, and they gave you a battery....   Think it stopped 
in the early 80s.

The only thing better than Rat Snack is FRYS.   Like a Costco/Best 
Buy/Circuit City/Radio Shack.   Lots of components.   And washing 
machines.......
