I think we, as hobbyists all have OCD, and tend toward extremes.  Look at the bright side, you can sell audiophiles all 845's, 211's, and 300B's and buy more radios with the spoils.

Scott, who enjoys good audio, but still uses lamp cord for speaker wire.
