Yes, of course.   Gives something like 38K presented to the 12A6 plate 
circuit.   Not very efficient use of a 12A6 to be sure but then only headphone 
volume was required for the application.   The center tap on the command set output 
xformers appears be used only for the neon bulb limiter (?) circuit.
