[Milsurplus] Fiberglass Masts

I know you have already received several suggestions, but remember 
what "fiberglass" is.  It is strands of glass embedded within a 
specific epoxy designed for the purpose.  Get a Corvette body repair 
kit, or simply some two part fiberglass epoxy at any DIY store.  
Roughen the surfaces, give it a good coating, slide them together, 
and never expect to get them apart again.  The epoxy on the exterior 
of the mast will fail first.  And, mentioning that reminds me, the 
pure epoxy is not UV resistant, so if those sections do not include a 
good pigment, give them a good coat of alkyd paint before installing 
them just out of reach of a paintbrush.
