Howie:  You're preaching to the choir so you won't find any objections. :-)
Ditto for USS LST325 when LOP#1 (RAK/RAL) is used with the TDE xmtr.
Works as good as an RBC as long as you know what you're doing....

To quote a current US manufacturer's caveat on their top line 
transceiver... "this is not a beginner's radio."   (kinda reverse from
the early thirties when a regen WAS a beginner's radio)  :-)
