Not according to him, and IIRC, the manufacturer of the new cabinet I
have (indirectly from Mac) is a completely different manufacturer. The
only cabinets I'm aware of remanufactured in recent years were a small
run of (almost) original SP-600-type cabinets, by Premier.

I doubt a B-52 has the same issues to contend with as a ground station
and, as you mention, would be better protected due to the environment
they operate in.

That's how I understand it also. Being any less susceptible to EMP as
a result would be an unintended benefit.
