Trivia.  Anybody gonna believe that I once used a
ILS Localizer test set that was a localizer receiver,
control box, indicator, and antenna, and 110 vac
power supply, all mounted in a 18 by 18 inch OD
wood box.  Maybe it came with an SCS-51,
but the ILS equipment was the usual aircraft stuff.
The test set could be set up on the center line near
the end of the runway, and  make preliminary
localizer course alignments.  Don't know where it
came from, we had MRN-7 and 8 at the time.
