Where were the wireheads on this one?
The 3rd of 4 antennas is the one with feed line and it IS a 4ele
'half yagi' antenna system. The other half, just like in a
vertical/ground-plane, is in the image beneath the liberator/privateer(?)
skin. 1st 2 elt.s are directors, last is reflector
This may have been connected to a Halli S-27/S-36 in acft to hunt axis
vhf radars. antenna steered w. stick 'n rudder
Someone said same same antenna on port side of acft. If true, then this
foto printed backwards.
Another someone suggested 2nd system on other side of acft would
help w. homing. 'splain pse Lucy
Lastest, elt.s look like 19". For 2m foxhunts.... naaaah, c'mon
How may are reading this in US are wearing Pilgrim suits? Who
thinks I'm in a turkey costume?
