[Milsurplus] B-24 Aircraft antennae - what System?

Hi all,
If there are identical antennas on each side of the aircraft, it suggests
some version of the SARAH (Search and Rescue and Homing) equipment. Equal
signals from each antenna would mean that the aircraft was pointed toward
(or, presumably, away from) the signal source.
I've seen such installations illustrated, with the antennas mounted further
forward, on large aircraft. I have a SARAH receiver that operates at 235
MHz, with a scope indicator; it has no military nomenclature, just "SARAH"
painted on the case. One of my Air Force manuals describes the system.
Have a fine Thanksgiving, all, and remember the troops.
