[Milsurplus] Tech help aligning BC-348 IF with sweep generator

Please reply wish any suggestions off list if you wish.

I have never had/used a sweep generator to align any equipment.  I would 
like to find one that will work from 100Khz to 20mhz.  There are a lot 
of possibilities out there. There are sweep and function generators can 
I use either one?
The function generators have Triangle, Sine wave, Pulse, TTL.  I assume 
that I would use triangle setting on a function generator..

Want to align the 4th IF in a BC-348 +/- 5KC fomr 915KC center.
