Mystery solved.
Big Rob Downs is the winner although I must admit that George, KB0CE,
was the first to come up with the model number. Robert filled in the
details (as he often does).
Upon further inspection, two of the units have the UHF connector and two
have the binding post so we've successfully identified they mystery
items as being MP-65's.
