[Milsurplus] Mystery Item

Antenna Mast Base AB-15/GR.  First introduced in late 1943 for use with the 
20-39 MC FM sets.  Remained in service at least through the Korean War and into 
the 60's with later vintage radios.  If you look carefully at the metal tube 
toward the right end of your photograph, you should find the nomenclature and 
sometimes the contractor's name engraved or stamped.
