Was this GRC gear made in not large quantities, or has most of it disappeared

overseas? It just doesn't seem to come up for sale often. I recall years back,

you'd see some in surplus stores - back when there were, surplus stores.

I wouldn't mind finding myself an RT-67, i think that's the one that covers

10 meters, but i have never even seen one.  

Shortly after i moved to Oregon in  1997, i saw an RT-68 and PS and something

else, on a mounting, in  smallish surplus store in Salem ( a/k/a  Ensalemada ) in

new condx, for $400, which seemed a lot, at the time. The store had mostly 

canvas surplus items altho i guess it says something that i cannot remember

a single specific item there except for this one radio. I'm pretty sure they were on

their last legs at that time; i don't know how a general interest surplus store could

survive nowadays, except for those quasi-surplus vendors called something like

"Large Lots" or whatever.  -Hue Miller
