I have a couple with modified mouthpieces, someone having drilled
extra holes above and beyond the original 3 that were there.
Apparently hoping to boost their audio? One has a very nicely done
sunburst pattern from a creative former user.

A couple are unhacked, others are 'improved'. Doesn't look like it
would be difficult to sub a better element for actual use.

The most I've paid is maybe $9 for a nice one at a hamfest. Wonder
what the nifty black plastic one would bring?
