Yes, that's my understanding as well.  This goes back to a conversation 
I had with a extremely competent audio engineer 35 years ago.

Sorry to further prolong this thread, but the lack of technical accuracy 
in the whole audiophile scene make me crazy.  BTW, they hate 
double-blind tests.

Audiophile = On who loves audio.  Problem is, in many cases, LOVE IS DEAF!
