A friend of mine works at a place that has a lot of books go thru. He culls
the rejects and buys them. Anything military he brings to me. He just
brought a hardbound "Yearbook" from the U.S. Army Training Center, Fort
Jackson, S.C. I can not find a date in it, but it is post-nam. Major General
George M. Krausz was the Commanding General. The book belonged to"Campbell,
Mike." It has pix of all the camp activities, fun things like KP, and
playing with hand grenades. Also has pix of the men of the unit, I believe
if I decipher it right, Second Training Brigade, Third Battalion, Twenty
eighth Infantry Regiment, Bravo Company.
If anyone out there was with this unit, or know anyone who was, and will
document info, I will send them the book, postpaid.
This is part of our history, and should not be sent to the shredder for lack
of interest.
Thanx
