American Guerrilla In The Philippines is a book by Ira Wolfert about the
adventures of Lt. Richardson during the Japanese occupation. Richardson had
served under John Bulkeley and was one of the PT crewmembers turned loose
when they ran out of boats. See "They Were Expendable".
The book doesn't get specific about the radios except they had some sets
delivered by submarine later in the war....is it possible they had liberated
a TCS set from one of the boats? Dunno.
American Guerrilla is a good read....tells how they reloaded .30 cal ammo
with projectiles made from curtain rods and filed to fit.
Best,
