Group -
Thank you all for your advice. I had some contact cleaner from
Autozone, cheap
$1.79 a can. Its been a while since I have tinkered with my old Mil stuff.
Re-read all the URM-25D re-building info on the web I could find.

Some Good stuff!
Ok I Ohm'ed out the switch pin-by-pin it turned out solid. Also cleaned
all the
tube contacts pin-by-pin. Adjusted the modulation resistor. Boom -
tones on
400~ and 1000~ positions, and 1mc Crystal Osc. beat notes!
Any one have any experience on overhauling the URM-25D your comments
would be
appreciated.

1. Any Ideas on replacing the .25uf stand off caps in a can? Attemting to
maintain the "standoff" and replace the cap. May be "re-build" the cap
by putting a new cap inside the can? The standoff can cap was used
for a
reason other than standoff pin.
2. How to get the 3 sections in the main casting housing out to replace
the paper-oil caps with as little de-soldering as possible. Man its
tight!
Thanks All
