For once the weather was good, no rain although their was some wind in
the afternoon. As always I did not see all the deals, was trying to sell
my junk but here is a short list of what was seen by me. Many ARC-5
radios in all states $20/$40 and up, several BC-348 receivers from $80
to $150, common price $125 Lots of R-388 receivers but only one R-390,
many PRC-25/77 for around $175 and T-195 transmitters same price, couple
ART-13 transmitters and lots of newer stuff, Harris ect, for big money.
Their was a Sunair GSB-700 with coupler for $100 was going to buy for
spare but was gone when I went back later. Also saw several people
buying all WW2 type radios and filling mini vans with the stuff, they
did not seam to care about the price. All the usual surplus dealers were
their but don't bother to look at them any more and have to wonder if a
TV-7 is worth $400 for a beat unit, did not buy one last year at $275
and look at them now! Tomorrow will be the 3885 WW2 AM net and the 51.0
Cold War net. Will give details on number of check ins and equipment.
Looks like their will be a complete ww2 Japanese HF station this year.
