Thot about this last year when my set turned up a FM-tx & AM-rx. Lock
nut not tightened on discriminator xfrm & it got outa whack. Discovered
bug & ran it w. tuning knob for successful check-in. Luckily thing
slung from shoulder strap making under-way tuning possible.

Pretty heavy beast w. gel cell in bottom bucket... whud hate to get it
on my back.

Tell ya when I disacovered bug I was ready to let loose. If there'd been
the right-sized McDonnald-Douglas $800 wrench nearby, Ida done it.

Anyway. Just got it back in order & hope it holds 'til next Sat.

Rob Flory have u found the last bad Coronet .01/160v cap? & are u
bringing that gray example for 2P 51mc cold war check-in?

  Marty
