If I'm right, that's the shipboard version of the APR-1/4 acft.
surveilance rx. Built by Scott Radio Chicago which elevates it to
a new price plateau.

Have a four-band CV 253 in execellent shape and another fixer-upper
with a bad 24vdc reversing clutch.  Fixer-upper appears fine & is
perfect for display.  Half the $$ of the good one

CV-253s post-date Korea (have 6AF4s).  These replaced several 'TNs' &
were all the rage in the USAF's late 50s.

Also they tune the original AMPS cell phone band.  As Jimminy Cricket
said "let your conscience be your guide."
