Hell's bells, folks. Everybody ought to be using
a virus protection program, set on automatic
update if possible, a manual update weekly,
and a full scan done at least weekly.
You also might be able to send anything with
that telefonica address in it directly to junk mail
without ever accepting it.
Surely there is a computer guru on the list that
can explain how to do these things.

For SEVERAL MONTHS I have been getting pairs of virus spams several times a
week. They ALL have come from a user at telefonica.es in Spain. Someone on
one
of the above lists has a worm or virus on their machines. Telefonica.es has
been
utterly unresponsive and the problem continues.
The purported senders have included:
<sales at comtrexcommunications.com>
<sales at cbs-communication.de>
bcarling at cfl.rr.com
eb1bug at telecable.es
This DOES NOT mean these emails were responsible, but rather that the
infected
computer has email FROM these people, or has these people in their address
books.
So, if you use telefonica.es AND have communicated with the above email
addresses, PLEASE RUN A VIRUS CHECK on you computer ASAP.
Thanks,
-John
