There are over 800 on this Yahoo Group:

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Wireless-Set-No19/

many of whom are into 19 sets and are distributed worldwide. The group's manual archive has all of the doc anyone familiar with tube electronics would ever need to get a 19 set ( and many, many others) working.

One problem is that the heavy AFVs are mostly in the southern part of the US and there is nothing, AFAIK, in the Northeast within a 10 hour drive. I just can't deal with a truck or AFV or camping for a week, so have concentrated on things like ground stations.

Show up to events with spare gear you can part with or sell. Show up and help us get our PRCs, WS and other gear working. I'll tell you that when I show to an event, just getting the 60 year old vehicle to behave can take all my time, trying to tear the guts out of a WS19 to get the intercom and B set working would be an even greater chore with out the support from folks that knew WS19s inside and out.

One fellow I know has 3 ws19s, 5 control boxes, 2 antenna masts, interconnection cables, ATUs and other parts and hasn't had time or help to get them up and useful.

If we could have a useful Signals workshop at events to get our WS19s all working with a centralized tube testing facility and such, we'd be able to make it all go faster because of collective resources.
