Marty,

As I wrote in my previous posting re. the AR-8506, it's not a bad receiver,
considering the relative simplicity and of course age. Rather than the
NC-46, it's very similar to the E.H. Scott SLR-F, which was interchangeable
with the AR-8506 in the Federal Radio consoles on board the Victory ships. I
use it on the low bands...
