Green machines were leaking into the Navy everywhere in '45. Like SCR-608s
on LSTs, BC-1000s to gyrenes, etc.
Marty, I have a photo of a Navy data plate for a MZ-2 radio jeep that lists
the SCR-608 with a 66118 antenna assembly from the Naval Shipyard in
Philadelphia, PA. I have photos of there use on Saipan in 1944.

I also have photos of the SCR-510 and the MAH (RT-19/ARC-4) mounted to the MZ
radio jeeps opposite the TCS as well as a BC-1000 sitting on the hood of a MZ
radio jeep on Guam in August of 1944.

There was quite a mix of Army/Navy systems, especially on joint island
operations.

Mark Tombleson
