[Milsurplus] Need: info / manuals on PP-6836 power supply

Got a great deal on a 24V power supply unit, Marine
Corps issue, PP-6836, and had to pick it up for our
group.  Have not been able to find any manuals for
thise unit, online or anywhere else.  Anyone know of
this rig?  

Unit consists of:

Control box C-7674/VCC
I-3096/U
case CY-7276/G

Cables came with it, but no nomenclature on them.
