*nod* ... but during World War II, it wasn't quite so
commonplace.  ADF and ILS (and maybe backcourse ILS)
was as good as it got then.

With a few extra toys to make it work pretty.  I
remember when the first Category III landing was made
... quite a big deal at the time.  I was happy to
master the ones I did (including my favorite, a GCA)
without dealing with what the big boys were doing. <G>
