Maybe cuz it's "knot" really an altimeter test set?

I wonder if the meter's been changed out.  Having been a
pilot for 30+ years, I can assure you that altitude isn't
measured in knots.

Does anyone have a clue as to why a test set for a Radio Altimeter would be
calibrated in Knots?
