When your closets get full, and you have to resort to storing out your treasures, maybe it's time to
switch over
to collecting "Military Radio Miniatures:

( 1/35 scale Torn Fud2 )

( Torn FuB1 series. )

( How can you have a war with different scale armies, i wonder? )

I have also seen "GI Joe" boxed sets in toy stores (USA) with small "military radios" including one
( Pearl Harbor
theme ) that looked like a TBX and actually squalked and whistled.

This stuff attracts me pretty much and i have a few items, but if i went into it, i'd have to get
out of my already
obsessive 1:1 scale collecting.
In US things, besides the current items in toy stores, there are the lead toy soldiers from late
1930s, i think, with a
couple radio - themed guys. German pre-WW2 toys have a couple or three neat radio soldiers operating
"fantasy
radios" (usually with some diamond shaped loop antenna ). But i think these have been copied in the
last few years
and i'd hate to pay a premium for just a copy. German pre-WW2 toy vehicles, such as radio scout
cars, these toys
go well up in the $1000 - 2000 price range, but they sure are the epitome of military toys, with
functioning lights,
rubber tyres, etc. Fun stuff.
