I don't doubt that, my point is that the delta is of little use unless one 
is simply driving a motor, or perhaps a shelter that has a disributuin 
transformer.

Nope,

I have an MEP-017A and an MEP-018A.  They can both be
switched to 120 volt 3-phase delta OR 240 volt 3-phase
delta.
