Update: That regenerative rcvr I left behind is probably a 300kc - 23mc
RAL-7, as I found a "Preliminary Instruction Book" for which. Not a bad
rx, but heavy! Uses 6-pin oldies like 6D6. Very dusty. Manual, $5 ppd;
rcvr, FTGH, p/u or delivery only.
BC-348-R, ser. 6180 Poor finish out, but un-touched in, no dyno or p/s. ID
plate is plastic - 11414-WF-43 If you have a rig with hacked insides but
good front, this would repair it. Offers.
BC-348-R, ser 9534 NO. 2540-WF-42 (Belmont) MFP 2-51 Good condx out, a
little dusty in, as it was out of the case, which is the wrong one anyway
(for a "Q" model). Several wires soldered to power-up points and the like,
but no hacking I can find. Rear Jones plug broken. Not up on value ...
"Preliminary Instructions" manual for BC-348-J. Useful for any models with
the single-ended tubes, unlike the two above, I should think. Thin, but
does have alignment, troubleshooting, schematic, etc. $5 ppd, or free with
set purchase.
"Beam Filter" N.A.F. 68304 - small, hefty al., black crinkle slope front
control box with two phone jax and a 3-posn switch labeled "Range Phone
Both" You tell me ... wrong color for MN-28?
Collins 35D-2, low-pass filter - a small dusty black-crinkle job. f? $?
Collins 18S4 tcvr. Dusty but un-molested. 20-ch ,100w, 2-18mc AM acrft
mama. Only Ham xtal is 7022kc rx; also has 2182kc pair. Is it worth more
than $50?
Crank control for? Cast aluminum rectangle face with crank knob, two
dials, large + coupling on rear - marked "D 1st Amplifier Tuning"
Whatizit? $?
Three dynos: DA-14A - 14/28v in, 230 out. On original base. Dirty but
un-hacked. $?
CAY-211483 with base, but wires clipped off short; shell bunged and
peeling. $5
DM-35-D on base w/ xfrmr, relays, seleniums, etc. Missing vibrator? (empty
socket) Number seems familiar, but can't remember what it's for ... $?
IP-206/URR Panoramic Indicator, NObsr 52586 Largish Navy-grey rack-mount
size, but in it's own case. What i.f. is this for? Robert? I'll send you
that RAL-7 if you don't tell me! haha
LS-7 speaker. Bad cord and plug, but okay otherwise. Not up on current
pricing.
LS-166 speaker - $5. Bad cord and no U-77, but I can include a whack job
for $2 more.
MN-28 control box for 200-410, 550-1200, 2300-6000 kc. Front only fair. $5?
RA-70-B monster p/s. Physically okay, but no idea what this is to ... Robert?
PP-610/U p/s NOBSR 49126 itty-bitty - says Navy, but black crinkle; a
little ratty, app. unk.
Sig. Corps/U.S. Army Output Meter, Weston Model 571, Type 3A, Part of Test
Set I-56; order NO. 37192-PHILA-43 Tell me, and then we'll both know ...
SCR-211 (aka BC-221) manual TM 11-300 Say the alphabet thru T, add AA-AL,
and that's what it covers ... $5 w/ BC-221 purchase (see previous ad); $10
w/o.
A couple more mil-related manuals: Issue 4, Oct 1952 of Halli.
instructions for SP-600-J & JX Lots of useful info here - $10 ppd with set
purchase (just kidding - no SP-600 extant!)
Halli. tech man for S-36A (the UHF rig), section V, maintenance. Includes
schematic, alignment, adjustments, voltage checks. $5 ppd.
Tubes - every ARC-5-type tube there is, plus 6SN7, loctals, 0D3, 807, 815,
829B, 832, 866, 872, 6L6, 6V6, 6 & 12v metal octals, 2A3, etc. Out the
wazoo ... inquire. Ed repaired tube-type church organs, but if he didn't
have it stashed away, I will anyway ...
