A 'baker's dozen', plus a couple - untested unless stated otherwise;
shipping not included:
BC-221-M frequency meter - nice, with book; well-done (factory?) p/s in
bottom; 2 sw's on left for modulation and plate. $25
BC-221-N - not so nice: green corrosion around brass fasteners, screw heads
may be rusty. Dirty. Big MARS sticker on front bottom, along with pilot
jewel and power switch to well-made p/s inside. Has book behind
deteriorated acrylic. Orange triangle stamped Dec 55. $15
LM-18 f. meter: black CRR-74028. Power cord was cobbled in where power
jack should be; has correct calib book in tray underneath. Two of the
front toggle switches are broken. $15
Navy-grey LM-21 (NT-74028A) Untouched and very nice, except for the two
toggles on lower right won't flip correctly. No book, alas. $25
Collins aircraft rig. Some scared nut removed the nomen plate - the only
clues I have is that the xtals inside are marked "18S-3&4", & how it
describes: big black "AT" case; 6x6x2 square cover on front emblazoned
"Collins"; PA is an 813 driven by 811 pair; has 1625, 6V6, 6AC7, 28D7's,
etc., and "The World's Largest Dyno" banded to the rear shelf: Type 51S1.
More description if needed ... if you make an offer, you have to detail
what it is!
RBL-3 (CWQ-46161-A) An 82-lb (actual measured wt.) TRF monster receiver
covering 15 to 600kc, powered from 115vac, 50/60cy. Wells-Gardner,
accepted Jan 19, 1944. All tubes good, power jack replaced by computer
jack; dial lens gone; dial flaking in upper right. Not tested (tho I
suppose I could). Would be a bugger to ship - p/u only? Offers.
two ATD spares boxes. Navy grey, no contents; both have lift-out tray.
Some termite damage on the back of one. Stenciled copiously with
mil-markings. Both Contract NOs 73237 May 20, 1940 Offers?
BC-906-D frequency meter. Near pristine - at least very, very good condx.
Philco order No 489-DAY-44 Complete, AFAICT $10
ARB (CRV-46151) 195kc - 9.05mc RCA-made Navy aircraft rx. Front jax
removed and octals cobbled in; extra tube stage, and a/c p/s inside.
Amazingly, it actually works! Includes like-new 'coffee grinder' control
and long spline cable (will sell separately). $15 for rx; offers on
accy's.
A trio of OS-8 o'scopes: OS-8B/U in carry case, $25; OS-8E/U good
looking, $20; OS-8G/U, missing pull-out CRT shroud, $15
black TCS pair: 50-lb COL-52245 tx (TCS-12) 1.5-12mc, defaced by depot
over-spray; no case latches or xtals, but no visible mods. Has four shock
mounts. $35 "matching" CIH-46159-A (Hamilton-made TCS-13) receiver.
3-posn rotary sw added by label. Has partial manual copy and plugs. Ed
had powered it up and was optimising his h.b. p/s when he fell ill the for
last time. $30
There's a few more pieces I haven't dug out yet, such as a 100-lb
regenerative rx, and monster audio osc., etc. There's also a BC-348-R with
paint-peelng case. Description on request. e
