[Milsurplus] Can anyone help me with this please?

While looking through some of the transformers in my "junque" box, this one
caught my eye.

It's Marked:
901150 501
CRV 30682

It is aluminium painted, has 6 terminals and is about 2.5" in diameter and
3.25" high. The terminals have never been soldered on.

I would very much appreciate any info about it, such as what equipment it
was used in,  it's application, and any other information that can be found. 
I know that CRV was RCA's Mfr Code and I had no luck googling on the 
CRV-30682.
