So it is agreed - if Perry modifies the TDE in some destructive way,
we hang him.

It might be worth looking in issues of the Navy RMB (Radio Maintenence
Bulletin) to see if the Navy corrected the key clicks. The RMBs worked
like the Army's MWO system - lots of little official mods were done to
most sets when they went into the field. These mods do not show up in
the normal manuals!
