I agree with Jim
That's the way it ought to be. My noggin provides the extra
selectivity that, for example, a TCS receiver lacks.
No need to chop it up. I've even see folks mod R-390's! They'll run
rings around most modern receivers as-is.
There are so few bits of WWII gear out there compared to just ten
years ago, lets keep it intact.
even R-390 and 390A's are becoming harder to find. Who'd thought that
would have happened so soon?
