You attack "my" stating that the mod was irreversible.  Strange.  My posting said nothing about anything being irreversible.  Why make up a "straw-man" subterfuge for your attack, Marty?

Obviously, it's beyond your place or position or qualification or power or capability or reason or justification to make such a demand.

You need to calm down.  I attacked no one, nor adversely characterized anyone.  Any insult that you perceived is your own invention, which provides much more insight to your outlook than to mine.  I expressed my opinion of these types of mods being made today to old equipment that had somehow survived until recently without ham molestation.  I also implied disappointment that ER published this type of article.  It is my perfect right to express such opinions, while you have no right to attack me personally and publically.

Your ad hominem attack on me should at least have been made in private e-mail, not in public.  Sadly, it reflects very badly on you.
