Excellent article and event, Dave. A very good presentation and
representation for the hobby, interest, and WWII aviation history in
general. It's nice that many restore and dsplay the old gear at
hamfests and other radio events, but IMHO this is a great way to get
the general public more involved and aware of the radio aspect. A lot
of folks like old airplanes. The more who can see the radio gear
associated with the aircraft (especially functioning gear), the better
chances for longer term survival. I bet the vets loved it, too.

Someone else mentioned doing a similar event out west, hopefully they
will post the results here, maybe even submit it for publication
somewhere.
