[Milsurplus] BC-348-Q Questions

A very, very nice BC-348-Q is my latest project. As usual, I have a few
questions:

1. How do I get at the .05 screen-bypass capacitor (Part No. 60)  in the
oscillator box? In the BC-342s, it's a piece of cake. Here, I think it may
be more involved.

2. The audio pack (Part Nos. 155-A and -B) has a connector marked Hi and one
marked Low. Mine is currently connected to Hi. What is this and what is the
difference? I'm using an LS-3 speaker. Is Hi correct for this speaker?

3. Is it in common in these sets to have a higher audio output with
headphones than with a speaker?
