In the never ending 618S1 project I am now looking for a T-368 exciter
deck.  The Collins 618S1/4 series radios used fixed crystals, 144 of
them. not wanting  to spend lots of money on crystals for the radio I
have decide to place a Collins PTO external of the radio and use its
output to drive the variable IF deck. I have obtained a NOS PTO from a
T-195 still sealed in its bag from 1969, but now want to see if I can
find a exciter section from a T-368 with a frequency display and the
like. The best part of this is I do not need the variable driver deck
and the equally hard to find output tube from the T-368 exciter deck ,
just the exciter chasse with the mechanical parts. If you have a T-368
exciter deck that is missing parts please let me know.
